How do I Make a Vacation Countdown Ticker?

Vacation Countdown Tickers ( Vacation Countdown Banner/Clock) are easy and fun to make. Best of all, they are free! Make as many as you like to mark every vacation and special event you have on your calendar. Just follow these four simple steps to create a ticker for your vacation:

1. Click on "Vacation Countdown" on the left sidebar on any page of MyVacationCountdown.com or click here to go to the link directly. Choose a background that best suits your vacation. After you choose the background that you like, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the sentence "Step Two: Click Her to Select Your Slider".
2. In step two, you will select a marker/slider. Simply click to choose the slider that you would like to use. If you chose not to use a slider, click on the last choice, which shows a blank slider. After you choose the slider that you like, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the sentence "Step Three: Click Here to Input Text".
3. In step three, you will be asked to input some values. Enter your vacation date in XX/XX/XXXX format or click "select" and select your vacation date. You'll also be asked to set wording. The countdown ticker defaults to "our next vacation" but you can change it to anything you like - "we go on our cruise", "my next trip to Walt Disney World", "we go visit Grandma". Be creative, the sky is the limit. You can also upload a small photo to be included on the left side of the banner. When you're done, click "Create Ticker".

We are working on a ticker option so that you can have the date of your ADR automatically calculated. Until it is completed, you can go to PS Calculator to calculate the date you can make your ADR then follow these four simple steps.

If you are trying to lose weight and want a countdown ticker to show the progress, you've come to the right place. There are several methods to choose from. You can track your progress by weight change, by what your weight is currently or how many inches you've lost. The data could be private or public. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Click on "Weight Loss" on the left sidebar on any page of MyVacationCountdown.com or click here to go to the link directly. Choose a background that best suits your vacation. After you choose the background that you like, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the sentence "Step Two: Click Her to Select Your Slider".
2. In step two, you will select a marker/slider. Simply click to choose the slider that you would like to use. If you chose not to use a slider, click on the last choice, which shows a blank slider. After you choose the slider that you like, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the sentence "Step Three: Click Here to Input Text".
3. In step three, you will be asked to input some values. Enter a Password/Pin - this is the only ticker that you will need this information. By saving your data, you avoid having to re-enter all the information again when you wish to update your ticker. The next choice is Privacy. You can choose to protect your setup and past data to be viewed by marking whether you want this ticker to be private data or public data. The next choice is Tracking method. You are able to create three different type of weight loss tickers (samples are shown above). You can track by simply displaying the weight change, you can track by displaying your initial weight and the amount of weight you still need to lose, or you can track by how many inches you've lost.
